SmartCart offers many different options for accepting payments in your online store, such as credit card payments, PayPal payments, Google Checkout, Online Checks (eChecks), Payment by Mail. The shopping system will present your preferred payment selections to your customers at checkout. Once the order has been submitted, the full order details can be accessed from the Order Management Area in the admin control panel.
Processing Credit Card Payments
To accept credit card payments, a merchant account and payment processor are needed. The best way to process payments in an online store is with an online payment processor, such as PayPal Pro, Authorizenet, Google Checkout, Verisign, LinkPoint, ECHO, Bank of America and many others. SmartCart is compatible with most online processors. An online payment processor can process the credit card payment at the time the order is placed, as well as verify the credit card holder's billing address to help protect against fraudulent transactions.
